Here starts the first of a few mini reviews I hope to do over the next few weeks/months, in a active move to give the games board points of topic and keep it an active part with any of the gamers who post here. Feel free to IM with any requests for reviews opinions you may like if theres anything I havent reviewed or post your own opinions, So this thread doesnt get too bogged down, Please try to keep any posts about a game in a new thread for that game. As a dark lord of the Sith, i have sources and means to get games so I usually can get hold of the goods, I dont have access to a Xbox or a Uber gaming pc (that soon to change). So if any one with either, (lucky rich ppl I guess as i want to play Jade Empire and its only on xbox) would like to step up and review some games of there own recently played feel free. So without a further a do, here is STAR WARS LEGO.

Star Wars Lego - Reviewed on PS2.
It was with aprehension I approached star wars lego, for I was not sure the Lego version of the star wars universe could foster anything but a simplified action game but i was intrigued of it including all 3 prequel movies. And star wars games are so hit and miss, for every Knights of the old republic theres a Star Wars Demolition or force commander,, the ratio of good too bad is never in the goods favour. Star Wars lego is a simple action game, but thats no bad thing, its fun and accesible for all ages, and dare I say it even ppl who didnt like the prequels, for it takes a tongue in cheek, mickey taking look at the new films. Be warned spoiler fans, it contains EPS 3 material, and I havent played the game to that pt, I got to near the end of EP 2. The funnest aspect of SW Lego is the puzzle solving, using force push/pull (on one button thats flagged to green objects in the game, gets you extra Studs (money) from trees etc, or turns tables into ladders to reach higher areas, lifts for artoo etc. You control a large variety of chars on most levels from droids to wookies, to jedis and you can switch at will, Jedi can force push, have a saber and are the best in combat. Blaster ppl can use tow cables to get high, droids can open doors and other stuff. Making the action varied.
Graphics 8/10 - Looks like the ppl had fun making all the ships locations look lego, and there nice crisp images and good effects like reflection Sound/Music 6/10 - Though not bad, its teh old same sounds, SW games are using the stock sounds and music from the films, and theres nothing in here we havent heard before. And theres hardly any voice work and non of the cast (games on a cd not a dvd though so no space i guess) Lastability 7/10 Though lots of extra chars to unlock that allow you to play again and get more secrets out the level the game seemed rather short, but its got a two player ive yet to try and is clearly aimed at the 12 and below more than the 14 too adult (adults who love lego and star wars should rent this) or collectmaniacs who finish action games over and over will find more or ppl with younger kids Difficulty 3/10 only the pod race seemed hard, maybe frustrating for kids tho restart points are common in the 3 lap recreation of EP 1 track, Baddies drop plenty of energy, Dieing only effects your score, there is no life pool, theres jumpy bits that may get frustrating but theres no massive repetition of areas after death so good for kids again.
Overall 7/10 For adults and star wars fans, its actually ironic the EP 1 levels I felt where better than the old PSONE/PC ep 1 games, add 1 to 2 for younger kids or ppl who liked Phantom Menace or Jedi Power Battles as its better than them. SW fans rent it first, see how you feel before you buy.
