if it needs to be done to help humans, then it needs to be done. but if it can be done any other way, they should use an alternative.

Absolutely not. No, no, no, no way. I don't care if it's to help humans, they can use people for it. But no animals. No.

Oh yeah. I feel EXTREMELY strongly about animal testing, having seen a few pictures. Do you know exactly what they do?
They drop the makeup/cosmetic product into the animal's eye to see what happens. If it goes blind, they don't use the makeup. Tell me just how cruel that is. It's usually rabbits but it can be anything.

No. what if they had found a cure for cancer, but because of the animal rights protesters, it could never be used? for vanity and cosmetics, no, animals shouldn't be used. So, i agree with stephen.

But that's the thing. They don't test new cures for diseases on animals because they don't have the same effect on animals as on humans. But the basic eye structure is quite similar. That's how they know if the makeup is suitable.

They don't have to use animals for cures for disease. They grow cell cultures in labs and use those to test them. They've brought in a new law. If you are an animal rights extremist, and you target someone in animal testing (yeah it's very vague), you could get 5 years in prison. ...WTF? The animal testing officials should be imprisoned.

Depends, maybe they do it for the money. Does that kind of job pay good money??

Who cares about the money? There are plenty of other jobs around that pay better money.

Happily, knowing they have killed a few more baby bunnies and murdered a few more mice.
